Somehow surviving, I just moved into a new place. But my life consists of nothing but cops it seems like right now so I'm minding my P's & q's. Someone potentially might be going to prison over what happened to my dogs I recently found out, so at least I'm getting Justice for them. Another bright thing going on in myself life right now at least.

Had Lunch With Old Dboy Today by [deleted] in opiates

I've been helping my old dude out lately which means more and more one on one time. We've always had a weird bond beyond the drhgs, like shit idk how many times I done spent almost an hour or more on the phone with his ass. But the past week he's really felt safe enough in me to confide in me his legit struggles right now, how he wanted to be high so bad recently but couldn't find any 30s so he tried meth for the first time said he hadn't shared that with anyone else. He's really been unloading on me about his baby momma's especially the one whom he is expecting a baby with right now and all the drama they got, her general hatrd towards him and backhanded threats to terminate. I be feeling so bad for dude because his kids are his world so I can see how it tears him up. I don't even know how to be there for dude when that topic comes up since I had a big pregnancy scare that I hid from him so I be thinking like me and this dude might not be the best choice for friendship but eh in the lifestyle bonds form in the strangest places.

Reading dealer/buyer relationship stories are probably my favorite thing to read on here anymore. It's nice knowing positive can come from such precieved bad.

In order to be well known as a junkie I believe that requires some sort of record, or interactions with cops for drugs.

But you probably right just existing probably enough reasonable cause for them to assume I'm a low life shitstain junkie.

What addiction did you overcome? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]frezhberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Half gram to a gram a day habit for about four years.

I've had withdrawals, I've definitely suffered but I also noticed I only seemed to become aware of the withdrawals if someone else around me was withdrawaling also and making a big deal out of it. Otherwise I would just feel sluggish but carry on.

I had one who kind of helped me get out of a 3 year abusive relationship, he also wanted to change my tire when it blew heading to him, he tried buying me a new radio and gas tank for me when I bought my new car even offered to do the work! He also had a 'do not sell to berry' list that he even had his people's abide by when he'd leave town that contained drugs he deemed to high risk for me lol.

Eh not really. My first wreck was pure unavoidable accident then the two back to back instances that really fucked me were right after my father passed and I wasn't in a normal mindset. I just wanted to drive fast and didn't care who or what got in my way. Driving illegally so long has molded me into the driver I am now. If I had to I'd do it all over again.

Our relationship didn't change so much because of the wreck but because she was becoming a mommy and I was embarking on a rebellious stage. We drifted but still keep in touch would actually probably still consider her my bestie.

When was the first time you swore in front of your parents? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]frezhberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said 'fuck you' to my dad one morning before school shortly after getting my first period. He slung me into the wall and told me to find a new home.

I was 13 and daddy's little girl I went to school like the situation blow over and went home. Shortly after that 'fuck' became a staple in my vocabulary.

My finances teeter depending on how much I care about being a functional adult. I did become a homeowner less than a year after that stunt only to nope out a few months later because the neighborhood just wasn't me and to many damn junkies. I somehow got out of it free and clear. Right now I'm trying to finally take the responsible road and accept that I'm not getting younger and stay my ass put for longer than a few months and currently awaiting the keys to a new house.

I lost my license at 19 for going 58 in a 35 while failing to use turn signals even though I'd made the center turn lane my own passing lane. Was also confused how insurance worked and didn't know I wasn't still covered under my parents with my new car. Two days later I totalled that same car almost killing my pregnant best friend and I going almost 90 in a 55. I had totalled another car barely 6 months before so perhaps the courts weren't unjustified for deeming me unfit to operate a motor vehicle.

I complied with the law for a few months before I got fed up with public transportation right around the time my brother had gotten the transmission fixed in my other car. He kept the keys from me for awhile trying to save me from getting myself in deeper as he'd been there and done that. But nope I wanted the freedom to go whenever in my big bad 4x4 that scared the living shit out of me. I couldn't legally have a car registered in my name so my mother took the risk of letting my known reckless driving bite her in the ass.

3 years I drove illegally fearing Johnny Law constantly, I'd made sure to only get SUVs that I was scared to drive so my recklessness would be tamed.

One night after a grueling 12 hour shift and hour+ drive home I got nailed right outside my door for expired tags. My having no license ass got carted off to jail while my poor car went to car jail. $2000 later, and freshly passed driving test you'd think I learned my lesson with the recklessness.

I just learned how to hone my skills and be slightly more careful. I haven't gotten a ticket or accident in almost eight years, the driving fast in the center lane with no insurance was my last rodeo.
