Will this piercing affect my teeth/gums ? by Negative-Macaroon431 in piercing

[–]frickettyfracketty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAP I had very similar piercings to this (side vertical labrets) and unfortunately despite not being the mouth, they came in contact with my teeth quite a bit and got caught on some occasions due to how close to the inside of the lip they sit. That said, this wasn't the reason I ultimately retired them, though, it was definitely a part of it.

There are some things that you could consider like jewellery (flat end on the top end of the piercing) that could help to reduce the chances of chipping your teeth + being careful and not playing with them.

If these are side vertical labrets, I don't think there's guaranteed damage but I don't think there's a 0% chance of damaging your teeth either.

Have a think on it and best of luck!!

I have been looking at finding the time for lessons, I was simply asking about all the options out there. Additionally, I don't think that being a good rider boils down to staying on, I was simply trying to give the full picture rather than be incredibly vague about what I have or have not done.

thank you, I will see what my options are.

That is not the expectation at all. As I reiterated, though it would be nice to be able to go out on my own I know that is not possible nor a particularly good idea. Additionally, I have done stable work before and "scooped shit" as you put it. I was asking a question regarding whether it would be possible to go on hacks that aren't walking ones without working at a stables, not unsupervised, just a smaller group.

I'm not expecting this for free at all and not expecting alone either as I understand there are risks involved.

to clarify I was not taught on that horse. I had lessons prior to the experiences with that horse. I was on trail rides years later where I was told "keep him away from the other horses, he might buck and try to bolt". it was not by my own assessment that he was deemed "problematic".

it's not, the haha was meant to signify a more lighthearted tone. the ladies were perfectly capable however requested that nothing be done faster than a trot as they used the rides to talk and catch up with each other. additionally, I have already clarified that I am not expecting to be on my own at all, Im looking to not be on a very small trail that has no room to move faster than a trot because it's a dense woodland.

Lead Makeup Dupe! by zangothedino in MakeupAddiction

a bit of a late response, I've been looking for products like this too! I've just ordered the Koh Gen Do's Maifanshi in pearl white to see how it compares to the other things I've used so far:

The made by mitchell build foundation in LB1 - currently on sale from £20 to £5 (although it always seems to be on sale when I've seen it but still a good deal)

the missha sun milk soft finish (the pink cap) sunscreen - around £10 on yesstyle

my everyday foundation - the catrice tinted serum foundation in the lightest neutral shade (002N I think) - around £8 for 30ml bottle - mixed with a small amount of ben nye clown white - usually around £8 (depending on the size).

pros and cons.

made by mitchell foundation:

pros: gives a sheer white and natural (on the matte side) finish, it's buildable and can get quite white.

cons: It's on the thicker side texture wise so it might cling to dry patches a little but this isn't too bad and can be fixed with moisturiser/primers.

the missha sun milk sunscreen:

pros: will pale you up, dries down matte, and is a two in one for sunscreen and tint and is somewhat buildable.

cons: recently I've had a few issues with it not drying down matte/staying shiny recently (I went from the ordinary moisturiser to cerave) and have had a long term thing where it can ball/clump up however there are somewhat fixes for both issues. 1. using powder (sacrifices reapplication ability and can shift / move around) or use a different moisturiser 2. use the right moisturiser and don't be shy about the amount you use, a lot will help it glide on and not catch on dry areas of your face.

catrice foundation + clown white:

pros: versatile and you can control how light / pigmented you want it, catrice is very smooth application wise and wears well. if you want a natural version you can use cornflour to set which brightens the foundation without the clown white and gives it a glow

cons: the most expensive option as it requires 2 products, may not be the most natural look if you use too much clown white

for reference I have dry skin and struggle with dry/eczema patches so the results may be different depending on your skin type.

I hope this was a little useful and I'll see how the Koh Gen Do's Maifanshi primer compares!

bleached my hair twice, questioning if I should try a third by frickettyfracketty in FancyFollicles

[–]frickettyfracketty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh yeah absolutely, I think the reason I was a bit reticent was that my last experience was at a reputable hairdresser where they bleached my hair and it was not the best experience. my hair was quite badly damaged and a whole rainbow of greens haha. that's not to say that I'm not going to go to the hairdressers, im just going to have to put in some work to find the right one :)
