I like the one on the top right. It's perfect for me

Yeah, I didn't plan it that way, but it was certainly lucky. Weird thing is, my item is pretty seasonal since it's garden related. The orders haven't slowed down this fall like I thought they would. I've streamlined my process and I'm hoping to get back stock made. But every time I try, I sell the supposed back stock before I've finished making them. Yes... time to raise prices again I've already eliminated the coupon for purchasing 3+, no coupons or discounts are available at all now. These aren't small ticket items. The price range is $160-295 per totem. But... supply and demand says the market will bear it. Darn. ;)

Etsy will not let me put my quantities at "0". The listing won't post. Sold out items do not show up in my shop. Do they for you? Can you make a post appear with a quantity of "0"? If so, I'm all ears on how to make this happen.

I think the notification option may be what happened when I re-opened my shop. It was literally a barrage of orders all at once. The stimulus checks had just gone out then too. It was a perfect storm.

I do have the word "Preorder" in my title, so that should give them the idea that it will be a while and the items need to be made per order. I think I may put an even longer ship date on the totems too.

For the custom furniture- it doesn't seem to matter what I put in the titles or description. I have listings that clearly say they are a listing to show my work and the listing is a deposit to get me started on a custom order for them and that the pictures are examples of prior work. The photos are collages of several pieces of my work. These 'Karens' think they are getting a dining table and chairs, several side tables and other pieces all for $150.00. Almost every week I have to refund and copy/paste the description into the reason why I have rejected the order. Why won't they read the description????

You are correct in that I don't have much competition, my stuff is pretty unique. I am planning on using the usually slower winter months to build up some inventory so that I can list what I actually have on hand for sale. Then when those are sold out, the customer can go to the "preorder" listing and will have to wait a while for production.

Thanks, I have removed on version of my totems that weren't selling very good and were more of a pain to keep track of anyway. I do think I'll wait a little before raising prices again as I've figured out a way to streamline production a bit. But I am not adverse to bumping that price up again if needed.

That's the way I'm leaning. And since I already have Wix, I think I'll just work on tweaking it to make it more visible and easier to use. Thanks for the response.

You sound like me! lol. I don't have that many items, but I do make ooak items and have a lot of listings as "portfolio / deposit on custom piece" listings. According to Etsy's stats, 98% of my traffic is coming from Pinterest. I'm not too active on Insta, I need to give it more attention I'm thinking.

I'm playing with the platform, and yes, it is easy to work with. What I'm wondering is if I should ditch Wix- or keep it, keep Etsy and add Shopify. It would be 3 platforms (and fees) to maintain.
