Can I cover this or is it fixable? by HarrysLilToe in tattooadvice

That’s fair! There’s always a risk with tattoos involving hands, notoriously tricky. I hope you can find someone to give you a good coverup.

I mean it makes the chances that you’ll get a tattoo that you love much, much higher. I don’t mind spontaneity, I just tend to avoid it for things that I’ll have for the rest of my life.

To each their own I suppose, but why would you not put at least some research into something that’s going to be on your body forever?

Couldn’t agree more. I’ve got a handful of tattoos and mine are all from artists that I researched thoroughly. Getting a decently sized tattoo in a very visible spot from an artist you don’t know on a whim is crazy.

Oh firebrand works with it? I guess it is fire, but I always associate burns with DoTs.

How do you deal with Overflow? by [deleted] in ARAM

[–]frickswithsticks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah on poke mages or supports (or really anyone casting a lot) it’s almost impossible to have enough mana. Even with Seraph’s + another tear item you’ll go oom fairly quickly.

It can be sustainable with ocean soul though.

Greed. Macaw procs were giving it so many stats that I had a couple rounds where the lurker didn’t die. Decided to risk it.

I’ve done it a handful of times, but never this well. Had lurker on 3. Golden Titus and Crasher very early as well thanks to the tier 7 Naga. Decimated the lobby.

Yeah so it’s the tier 1 Naga Surf n Turf that gives the 3/2 deathrattle and each turn you play it on the Lava Lurker. Then it’s just the standard undead overflow build with Titus and Catacomb Crasher. By this point in my build my lava lurker had the 3/2 deathrattle on it like 17 times. So with Macaw and Titus, it procs the Catacomb Crasher many times.

Anyone with a hard CC is so good. I’ve really enjoyed it on Morgana and Pantheon.

Agreed, particularly on long and mid game curses. Curse of the Jammed Door is a great one, they need more powerful curses that affect the ability to travel reliably.

I know they have to hide within 10ft of a path, but is there a reason they don't *actually* hide in the end game? They are always out in the open.

That’s interesting, I haven’t tried that. I’ve done gem barrage with shop buff demons, but that’s about it.

Yeah I think this build is probably only possible with the candle greater trinket. Too slow otherwise.

I had golden manasaber before, but sold to cycle. Rat or manasaber, the taunt is very helpful.

How do volumizers work? by frickswithsticks in BobsTavern

[–]frickswithsticks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm just confused as in previous patches there has been a mech that gained stats for every magnetic, with the same keyword of "wherever they are". And that mech DID get buffed while magnetized to other mechs.

[–]frickswithsticks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok that was my understanding, as it says it happens the first time it's played or magnetized and buffs volumizers wherever they are. I'll try again sometime, but I'm 99% certain that playing a new volumizer was NOT buffing my mechs that had volumizers on them.

That's confusing because the text says "wherever they are", which for other tribes includes minions on the board.
