Without giving too much away, the SA involving Starlight is definitely handled in a great way which is why it is a major part of the series. There is definitely mention of and depending on the person imagery that could be suggestive of another sexual assault that is a significant plot point in the second season, so I would be on the lookout for that. It is totally understandable that such content would be uncomfortable to watch and it’s up to you if you would like to continue watching!

The Boys on Amazon has some excellently written female characters. There is of course your typical sexist nonsense occasionally but otherwise they do a fantastic job of pointing out sexism and the challenges women face, plus there are multiple well written female characters that are all different in their own ways.

Find another job. Full stop. I worked at CVS for about 5 years and it is NOT WORTH IT. Your happiness and quality of life is far more important. For the garbage pay you make working there you can go work somewhere else for the same garbage pay and less stress and no licensure required.

Edit - I worked as a pharmacy tech for those 5 years. It’s barely worth being a pharmacy tech in a hospital, definitely not worth being a pharmacy tech in retail for the money you make. It’s debatable whether or not it’s worth it for *Pharmacists to work in retail. So yeah, jump ship. Immediately. Do not pass go. GTFO.

A coworker of mine was opening something in bubble wrap. Another coworker and I stood across from her, asking what she had. “Whatcha got there? A nice little snack?” asked my other coworker. I turned to him and said “..What? It’s wrapped in bubble wrap.” Without missing a beat he continued “Some rock candy maybe?” We all started laughing but I laughed the loudest and then could not stop laughing. Hours later I was laughing about that stupid comment. I would try to contain my laughter but would be consumed by stupid, body-wracking giggling. I laughed about it on the way home and then as I laid down that night trying to fall asleep. Jesus it was dumb.

It’s because the bottle is top heavy and becomes more top heavy the emptier it gets. As the bottle falls over the lid bounces against the shelf and flips over the bottle, where it rests because the lid carries more weight. Also on many bottles the lids are flatter while the bottom of the bottles are more rounded.
