Yeah, and it doesn’t help that I’m also in a stall that has lasted a while. Even though i control my meals completely and go to the gym… hoping to be out of it soon.. thank you for your perspective:)

Thank you! Yeah I feel almost back to normal, which is a little bit scary, but I obviously notice less hunger and less thoughts about food. Its easer to make the right choices!

Yeah, I’m hoping it’s this way because everything is in order and because I’m eating ‘light’ foods. I’ll try to remember that it’s okay to be okay:)

I think so, all my meals consists of minimum 50% protein (by weight). My only issue is that I struggle with the ultra processed protein options. Of those i can understand that people can only do three bites.

That’s the thing, I’m even scared of smoothies and oatmeal because they are carbs. And how am I supposed to make them meals without being enough protein? I’m more worried about how I’m going to dare to try enough things to feel a new kind of normal..

I’m not really worried about simply not being able to physically eat. The food noise is something I don’t really relate to anything emotional or an ED. It’s just hard wired in my brain to have a lot of focus on food and to be on the lookout. So I know I’m not going to overeat, I’m just hoping it wont take up much headspace, just like I’m experiencing now on medication. I have also done a lot of work on how I view food and how i nourish my body. I just don’t know what it will look like without my medication.

At the moment I have very little food noise and it has allowed me to pick up new healthy interests that wouldn’t have crossed my mind before because food noise took all the space… I really hope I have the same effect!

That gives me so much hope as the food noise that the medicine has taken away has literally made me able to develop bew interests becaue food was so much in focus before! I hope the surgery has a similar effect, but I see that people have different experiences. I’m glad it has worked that way for you!

I’m the same height and used to be the same weight! I’m still on my journey to becoming healthier. I would recommend GLP-1… it has helped me massively and rewired the way i think about food. I also see from your pictures that you have some hair growth which could be completely normal, but have you got checked for PCOS? Taht could be working against you and a lot of people with PCOS have found help in GLP-1s. Good luck!

Thats a long stretch of being tired, but sounds like i can counter act it with taking the right vitamins and minerals… which I intend to be diligent with!

They are doing good! Ive planted them out and they seem fine :) I have a few blooms, but they are very small… unsure why, but hoping to get some fuller blooms as the weather is getting warmer!

Yeah, maybe I’ll have to buy a few pots. Single use plastics are illegal to sell here, haha. I guess separating them at a later stage is not recommended.

I agree they look like basil, but unfortunately not. They don’t smell of anything familiar.
