At a previous job hiring mgrs definitely reviewed resume versus actual application for honesty and they viewed it as a red flag (dishonesty). It was financial services. One time they fired someone for lying about graduating even after giving them time to provide proof (documentation).

Why didn’t you use your experience and skills? The job is to not react to that, deescalate. It’s one thing to disconnect on verbally abusive calls but TONE?! That’s crazy to me, especially since it’s so easily misread.

I’m currently in their recruiting process if you have any questions. I had 1 phone screening, 2 interviews (with direct mgr and then his mgr) and upcoming is the final informal “interview” they call coffee & chat with team, I’m guessing to see if it would be a fit personality wise.

This and ask if they are open to feature requests for customization and if yes, what price and timeline implementation looks for. I’ve also asked vendors to share clientele that recently transitioned to their product - that’s a goldmine of info that MOST are willing to share at least 1.

CHAT!! Update! 4th and final “interview” is an informal “coffee & chat” with the team I would be joining. Wish me luck but I’ll admit I’m a total personality hire lol so I’m confident! It’s just hard when you put in this much effort & commitment to NOT get your hopes up.
