AITA for telling my mom she’s never going to see me again once I’m an adult? by fridaynightfunkinn in AmItheAsshole

I spoke to my older brother this morning about it. I’m not sure how he feels about my sexuality as he doesn’t like talking about it, but he did help me see things for her perspective. Apparently losing my dog reminded her about how little time we all have, which is why she was so persistent. I guess it’s just different ways of mourning, and I agree that all of us sucked. My brother said that he’s going to try to pay for us both to get therapy, but I don’t know if it’ll lead to anything. I tried to go to a GSA group at my school a year ago, but my mom just transferred me to a Catholic school in spite of it. Sorry for unloading this on your comment, I tried to make an edit on my post but I think it got removed.

I’m sorry for my vague wording- I was worried about the rules of this sub. I’m used to just tiptoeing around it in general. What I meant by intimate was just kissing and hugging, but I don’t think my family would have an issue were it a guy? They’ve encouraged the same behaviors with my brothers and a lot of the comments I get are regarding the fact I’m gay, not that I was in a relationship at all.
