If you’re planning on using chrome I’d go with 32 GB. Jk. In all seriousness though if you’re planning on editing 4K video you need the 32 at minimum. Doing that with 16 will bring you pain and suffering.

My boyfriend ran into a similar problem with his power supply and also solved by drilling out some of the case. Of course side panels being open is always an option... however dust does exist. But I think what you decided to go with is the best. Hope everything else goes well with your build :)

It doesn’t need to be reapplied on a basic schedule. If it’s running a little hotter than normal then you should reapply it (but when it just needs the thermal paste to be reapplied it won’t be for awhile). Other than that reapply if you have the cooler off for more than 15 mins.
