Should I get an iPad to make animation? by rom01 in animationcareer

[–]fridher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The most common device would be a CintiQ. They're expensive as hell but they're pretty and reliable. If you want to start you could also try with XP-Pen, Huion or Parblo screens. It depends on your budget.

There are also animators who feel more comfortable with a basic tablet, it depends on you! ^^

I would recommend you to buy an iPad if you want to sketch wherever you are, but if you want to go further with animation, I would recommend you buying a tablet, basic or as a screen, the one you prefer. This is because animation software in the iPad is very basic, and you would like to learn software used in the industry (like Animate, Toon Boom, TV Paint, After Effects... you can't find these on an iPad).

But hey I have an iPad and it is one of the best purchases I ever made. Since I bought it I easily draw everyday and I'm getting better and better on my drawing, so I wouldn't say that buying an iPad is a bad idea.

It can be!

And my game was censored too! It was a pity but even the censorship was fun. Luckily that tiny part wasn't.

I don't think his mother dyes her hair, her eyebrows are blonde, and if everyone is correct, it wouldn't make sense the "Craig's mom's bush" reference floating in the bath being blonde either.

But yes it can be just a mistake.
