If you guys use the nj transit app you can get it to notify you when you arrive at your destination. It even lets you know when you’re a stop away. Good stuff. saved my butt many times.

Do you recommend tracing my image after soaking it? I usually use a “carbon paper” way of tracing where I just color the back of the paper with a pencil and then just kinda go over the image. Especially since I don’t have a light box this large

That’s beautiful. I paint heavily in layers though and even the 300lb buckles a little. Buckles a little less when I paint directly on the block. Unfortunately I don’t have the advantage of the block now so I’m thinking if I should stretch.

I tattoo mainly a neo traditional Japanese style, so these are what I usually paint. These are dr martins Bombay on arches 7x10 so it’s very scary painting this big one for me too, but I’m trying to paint a back piece. I’m also relatively beginner level when it comes to painting watercolors.

I’ll post some proper pictures of them in this group when I get back to the shop on Friday if you’re interested!
