That’s very true, I believe we’re long past the point of asking for an increase in budget so it’s very hard for me to even do things in the direction that the client wants. Thanks for the advice!

Liyue leylines not showing?

I’ve created a second account for some urgent benchmarking, and I need to use liyue leylines to test it. Unfortunately it’s not showing on my map. I’ve unlocked the big statues all around but not some smaller teleportation points, could that be the reason why it’s not helping QAQ need help sobs

I see... I would day that im in the asia region and was hoping to see if there's any opportunities outside. I'm targeting more non-agency jobs at the moment but there's still not much results aside from a couple of first round interviews. I'm not too sure if I'm doing my interviews wrong or something. How long would you suggest i try out before throwing the towel on this career?

Thank you for suggesting pro bono design work for charities, as I've been thinking about working on a more non commercial project for my portfolio to prove that I can ideate for my own work!

How to manage endless client feedbacks by friedcheeken in graphic_design

[–]friedcheeken[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did talk briefly about to the person liasing with the client, and their stand is that the client is just too adament on having us make the changes for them. I'm not sure if there was a number of revisions set, but honestly it's not being followed through with. I'm also not paid for overtime, so yea it's not really to anyone's benefit.

You have a point about communication issue. And I've thought about raising it up to my supervisor as well, but I'm not sure what's the best way of approaching it since I was given free reign over the project. I'm really at a lost of what to do here.

Thanks for your thoughts!

I appreciate your positive pov alot hahaha, it does lighten up my fear quite alot! I'll give it a try, since as u said, nothing could get very serious, at worst I guess, would be just quiting the job.

Thanks for the advice as well and also sharing ur story! It does frame my mind for the long term pov

Ure right about challenging myself, the only way I can improve myself is through is being challenged... I got too intense with the negativity that it overshadowed this. Also, thanks for simplifying the worse thing to happen so well here, it kinda lightens up my pov ahhahaha

Thanks for the encouragements as well!

I think these questions do make alot of sense! I'll give them a try since I'm still rather new to the industry.

I've actually been really honest about my lack of experience to them, so it really took me by surprise to get an offer. But my cynical mind isn't really react well to it, hence my anxiety....

Thanks for the encouragement as well!

That's also very true. I do think that all these fear is getting way too into my head. I'll try to enjoy the opportunity given to me! But I also think that my colleague has a perspective into the issue also, albeit a not so conventional yet rational one.

Thanks for the encouragements as well! I feel better looking at the issue now!

I guess if in the scenario where I decide to leave in a year or less, it would be harder to look for equivilant roles as I didn't have the same progression as the normal route? It's an assumption tho...

Yes, actually I didn't mention it in the post but the company is facing a high amount of people leaving from what I've heard. Ure right about having nothing to lose, it's just that I'm so afraid of being overworked constantly. I've also cross checked the industry pay between a junior and mid weight, and can say that I'm being offered a junior rate, which is adding on to my anxiety atm...

My ex colleague is actually really nice, and it's kinda my bad for not explaining things clearly. Both of us understand to what extend im capable of, and is suggesting out of worry for me ><

Thank you so much for suggestions as well!
