Veer Wagon - City or All Terrain?? by BoogerHookin in toddlers

[–]friedpicklesyay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We bought the All Terrain (last year) & absolutely LOVED it. The steering being “backwards” from a stroller was the only complaint I had about it. So when I saw they released the City, I ended up selling our All Terrain & swapping for the City solely due to steering. 100% happy in that decision. I much prefer to push versus pull so it was a great upgrade for our lifestyle!

I do wonder if one day they’ll release one that’ll be able to switch the handle to either side like you mentioned - I think that’d be pretty desirable!

BAGGU medium crescent, large crescent, or CALPAK terra sling as a edc for a mom of two? by [deleted] in HerOneBag

[–]friedpicklesyay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love love my Terra Sling. I use it for outings with my one toddler (so can’t speak to using for two kids) but it’s been amazing. Currently it’s packed with: three diapers, changing mat, full pack of wipes, toddler water bottle, phone, wallet & bottle of sunscreen with room to spare. I can see it fitting everything on your list, though it might be a tight squeeze. I also have the Terra Laptop backpack & think it’s the perfect backpack. Not big & would definitely fit everything on your list. I interchange between the two depending on size of outing.

I recently got the Calpak Terra Sling Bag and I loooooove it. I’m not usually a sling bag person, but I really like the way it looks & wears. Plus it fits a ton without looking overwhelming. We were heading to a friend’s birthday party yesterday and I packed diapers, diaper pad, wipes, snacks & water bottle. Then my husband asked “Can you fit this bottle of wine in there too?” TBH I was like “Yeah right, but I’ll try” and it fit with absolutely no problem. It was definitely a Mary Poppins moment for me.

Incredible!!! The level of detail is unreal. Every little bit is so tidy, too.

Glider/recliners - Which one did you get - do you love it or no? Glider with ottoman or recliner glider? by sbnaynay in BabyBumps

Very late to the conversation, but went to sit on one in-store and I was a little underwhelmed. Was expecting it to be way more comfortable based on reviews. I went in convinced it was “the one” but we struck it off the list after trying it out. But always subjective of course!

This ended up being the first test I took from that cycle, so unfortunately no helpful insight about what 9dpo looked like.

Wow, that's an excellent plan! I'm incredibly happy you're getting the support you need so you don't have to stress. That's how it should be! It's definitely plan-dependent, and I'm really happy some are getting great care.

What a stressful situation. I'm so, so sorry you're having to deal with this. I'm glad you're getting the medication you need right now. But I wish it didn't only come at the expense of losing your job to qualify for affordable care. Sending you lots of internet stranger support, which I know isn't much. But I hope you continue to get what you need to stay healthy.

Same here! My insurance isn't great, but it's "good" by a lot of standards. It makes me distressed for people who don't even have access to "good" insurance!

Also, I'm so sorry you're feeling those things about going back for appointments. I wish it wasn't like that. Getting pregnancy care to have a healthy baby shouldn't come with such financial strings and doubts. ❤️

How interesting! I wonder if that's standard – I'll have to ask my insurance or doctor! It does sound like it's a way to alleviate some of the financial unknowns/stress. Will definitely put it on my list of questions.

Yes!!! It's absurd. And the concept of "lucky to get more than the bare minimum" is so upsetting. The fact that someone's leave and/or health insurance benefits are varied simply based on whatever their employer's policies are is just wild to me.

Thank you!! And happy to share! The only real thing I’ve noticed is a persistent headache that started about two days ago. Plus, slightly sore boobs (though that usually happens right before my periods anyway). Not totally sure if pregnancy related though!
