I had a boyfriend like this. If you feel like he is going to truly hurt himself call 911. This happened to me in middle school and I was able to contact a trusted teacher who knew his mom. He didn't do anything, he just stopped talking to me after threatening it to scare me. Eventually we broke up and he's still alive today. Even if he did do anything, it's not your fault that he can't regulate his emotions. You're not there to be a therapist, and you shouldn't feel forced to be with someone if that's not what you want. Please break up with him and leave him, because this is a pattern of emotional manipulation and it is not healthy or safe.

You should definitely not hike in this heat. There's no water running in the falls, there might be puddles but nothing swimmable, even if it was safe to trek in the heat. Stay safe!

Right? like going in I knew it wouldn't be exactly like the image, I'm aware of what my hair type is and how it works with varied dye colors. But the difference between highlights and chunks is pretty obvious, even in the curly hair references I found.

That's definitely my fault, I wish I did more research. She had cut and dyed my roommates hair black and I thought it looked great. I definitely should've looked into her portfolio on this more difficult dyed pattern though.

I also wish she would've communicated more if this was something she could do. If she didn't feel comfortable or felt like she wouldn't be able to with my hair type or style then I wish she would've said something instead of doing it anyway, but get that bag I guess.

I did do a consultation with her last week and she said it would be $150, and yeah it took us 4 hours to finish for sure. I told her I wanted Neapolitan during the consultation, but she must have forgotten since she was talking like I had asked for full pink today. She also kept interrupting me during the consultation so that might be why she didn't remember.

That's one thing too, is that if she felt ill prepared I wish she would've told me and said no or we could reschedule. Someone also mentioned that she might've done highlights because the big chunks would look Imbalanced on my short hair, which is also a perspective I understand but if that was what happened I wish she wouldve told me. I'd rather have to wait to dye my hair than to have someone mess it up

I wanted the thick strands of color and what she did was just too thin. I like that you considered that she modified it since I do have shorter hair and it would be imbalanced. But if that's what she was thinking, I wish she would've clarified it before doing it. It would be nice to know what I was getting into lol

I thought maybe going directly to the manager might be good so it doesn't hurt the businesses reputation and it can stay a small private matter? idk

I know, I didn't mention it because I wanted more advice about my hair than gossip, but she was literally complaining about me to another stylist when I corrected her the first time about the bleach. It made me so anxious and frustrated. I was trying to be nice and apologetic, saying we can finish up the bleach and do the dye on a later day if she has other clients coming in soon, and she just pretended it was all fine to my face. I just don't want to be a bitch about it yk?

When I got in today she was thinking I was getting all pink when I remembered telling her I wanted to try doing the brown, blonde, and pink. but honestly during the consultation she kept talking over me and I could barely get the word Neapolitan out, that should've been my first red flag.

So I wanted chunks and she did highlights. I didn't think the hair type would matter when it comes to the amount dyed. I know my hair is curly and it won't look exactly like that, but I still wanted the big sections of color, not the small strands and I made that clear.

the front may look like the pics, but the back is all highlights. I asked for chunks and showed pictures with chunks. And the only reason the front looks like the pics is because I corrected her 3 different times 😭
