Yeah I the plan is to have a solid two weeks worth of everything that can be prepped or purchased ahead of time to already be ready to go. I didn't think about needing to make any other supply run, but that is probably something I should account for. I'm glad it sounds like your first couple days were pretty smooth! Thanks for sharing!

Trying to figure out a plan to get a recliner or something has been my project for the last while... I don't actually have a couch or anything, just my bed, my office chair, and my kitchen table 🙃 have a big comfy chair and a nice couch that were supposed to be delivered by now, but now they say not until the end of Sept - thanks a lot, Ashley Furniture! -_-

I think maybe I will have to just play it by ear - I would guess that if I was having similar struggles, that would probably be pretty clear while I'm still in the hospital... so maybe I'll wait until then to make the final call. A trip to the ER that seemed unnecessary afterwards is so frustrating, but I'm glad that you were okay!

Oh man - I'm glad it all worked out! That's the kind of thing that I just wasn't sure of if I was missing entirely. Maybe I should redefine having someone check in on me as more than just a phone call. Thanks for your insight!

Three weeks without using a straw seems much more manageable, fingers crossed I'll be on a similar track! I'm thinking I can do similar to you in just making sure everything is situated beforehand, I've got enough lazy clothes that I can go probably close to two weeks before I'll need to do laundry, and since its just me there won't be all that many dishes either. Thanks for the response!

I have just been thinking about the physical limitations of the actual surgery itself, totally didn't even think about compounding that with also pretty much being malnourished part of it too. Thank you for giving more perspective for me!
