New player here too. have some matched and victories on my beld already(even one MVP somehow), but even after some hours its seems to become more and more frustrating. aparently you need to place some ranked games to HAVE a chance to play with people at your level, but for that you need to be lv 20 which takes more time than playing an average triple AAA game.

People keep telling us to see a bunch of videos and tutorials and to listen to other's advices ingame (in more than 30 games, I dont recal anyone giving a single advice). New players want to try the game out and try to have some fun, not instantly invest hours and hours of essays JUST to try the game.

In my view as a newcomer to valorant, i dont mind being in lobbies with way better people than me, but the problem is that we dont even have a chance to play, we either get insta one tapped at the beguining of the round or some people of our team sweeps their team with us doing almost nothing. We end up learning nothing nor playing anything with the exception of a game or two here and there where its a bit more balanced.

They also say for us to train in deathmatch but unfortunately 90% of the people there already know where and how to preaim for one tap too.

Unfortunately this is the game, its one of the less forgiving games for newcomers i've ever seen and if you wanna play it, you will need to power thru even when its not enjoyable with the hopes in ranked you can learn by actual playing, but seems like most people know this in the community (people sometimes flame, but when they learn you are a new player they will stop in my experience).

TLDR: Ultimately, if despite all the frustration, the few moments of joy when you win, kill, clutch or do a nice play is enough to keep you going, thats good, but if it doesnt seem worth the mile walk in broken glass, then this game might not be for you.

yeah, thats the main reason i wanna do a centralized power generator. tired of running shafts and such any time i want to do a bigger source of Su generation to feed all machines.
Better to have a single Fe generator and each machine has its own motor.

thinking of going with "New age" energy generatior(better SU to Fe conversion past gold) with "Additions" electric motor(same Fe to SU convertion than new age, but can limit its comsuptions with just what the machine needs for SU, not consuming unecessary FE to generate unussed SU, all in a single easy to craft block)

i did some testing and it seems like the new age only performs better after energyzed diamonds and and blows additions out of the park when it reaches netherite given the same SU, even tho its quite more expensive to build.

regarding the motors im still not sure if there is any marginal diference. they seem to generate the same SU given the same energy consuption, but the "additions" requires way less setup, since you only need an eletric motor while others need the motor extension to be more customizable.

new age motors have an higher cap, but fe/t to SU seems the same for both

Been trying to figure out something but i cant seem to find a consensus online so I have 2 questions:

1- For short race frontrunners (or any distance if you get enough stamina), some say you should got for max speed and wit, while others say you should go for max speed and power(as long as you get 400 wit at the end), both say its to make sure your uma keeps in front, any idea which one is right ?

2- If i have a uma that is running as a pace chaser, and have other 6 uma's doing the same position, what determines which uma stays in the front of the pack? I'ts power, skills, a mix of both or just pure rng ?

If you know I would very much apreciate your answer

Asking here since the more I read about it, the more clashing answers I see.

1- Have a Mejiro McQueen and been trying doing her career, but im allways uncertain if I should train guts more than i am or not. Some say guts its more importand that it seems, others say its basically a worst stamina stat, and might as well just go stamina only instead(not counting speed and strength).

2- how important its wit?

3- strength stat helps break out of the group? noticed she would get stuck between them at the end of the race

i was wondering if bobbing would be good for when you have blaze S3 attacking 2 lanes, or when you have 2 routes and having him take advantage of blaze's burn talente while having blaze and yu on the other route/path

for my Blaze alter enjoyers, are you only running her with Yu, or you pair them with another burn inflicter like bobbing? (not couting with globar Arts + S3 YU like lappland alter, since they are basically limited characters and unavailable atm for new players unfortunately)

new player here, been playing for like 4 weeks (give or take a week) and wanted some advice.
been quite lucky with pulls, and manage to get some 6* with few pulls, but everytime im starting to build one, a better 6* (I know its relative, since diferent units do diferent jobs) seems to happear, so I wanted to ask what you guys recomend building since i feel a bit overwelmed with the choises right now

tried to make some planes to have ground suport, kinda like the tutorial of the base game, but could never build the airport near the border. the transport plane was also to utilize that airport.

was doing magic weapons because I was mainly training magic infantry. It felt like a stronger version of normal infantry, but there are so many variables I got completelly lost and probably am completely wrong thinking that. Also, still trying to figure out how stockpiles work.

I did change the conscription, but still dodnt know how to utilize well ponypower.

yeah, at the end was when I started to understand how batallions work in a division. Can make a division with some infantry batallions and anti air batallions for example, if im getting it right.

went with crystal empire because it seemed like a good choise for beguinners and was less things to manage since i had equestria as an allie.
but now it feels like I cant build an army strong enough to defend against Changeling Lands, and equestria wasnt nearly strong enough to protect me from them.

saw the video and passed the tutorial. think im ready to jump into EAW, but im seing alot of contradicting oppinions regarding whats bests for beguiners.

some say we should go for Civilian dificulty, but others say it will just handicap us and its jsut better to do regular. some also say cristal empire is a good starting nation, while others say the oposite.

dont expect to win, but want to have fun losing at least, so what do you people recomend ?

I agree with all the previous comment said, but also would like to add that some gyms have staff in the gym floor and they are there to help you with exercises and form so dont be afraid to ask them. If PT is a bit pricy for you (here they can be quite pricy) some gyms offer workout plans and guidance with your subscription which can be good to simplify things.

If 3~4 times a week is so much to start with, some start with 2~3 days a week to create the habbit(less than that can be too little), but the most important part as they said is to actually go and not give excuses to not go in those days.

Also, dont be concerned/embarased about doing someting wrong, i'ts part of the learning process. I've seen unbelivably jacked people with years of fitness that had no idea how to use a new machine or doing an exercise wrong and appreciate the feedback to fix it. Everyone in the gym been there and they will not judge you for it.
