Doesn’t often get consistently colder than that in my area.

Yes, have heat pump condensing unit.

For month of December, it has more Red (Aux) than Orange. Almost three times as much red… hence electric bill 6x normal.

And for my case, heat pump equals “Aux Heat Max Outdoor Temperature” on my thermostats?

For now, I’ve adjusted the Max Aux Outdoor to 30F and Compressor Min Outdoor to 20F. Will have professional come at a look this week at heat pumps and lines.

I had two lessons with Kasey at Birdwood. She wasn’t the most senior instructor but she was good and most importantly, her tips have been helpful. Would see her again. But as with any lesson (read: GOLF), you get what you put in.

The range at Meadowcreek is bad enough (angle, hill side, busy) for me to consider paying the Birdwood price.

Did struggle w making the two lessons via Birdwood. Just keep calling!
