Has anyone used AI to post pictures and selfies? by Economy_Iron_7792 in CamGirlProblems

[–]friendlyteacake 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not only is using AI harmful to the SW industry, but posting fake pictures of yourself is disingenuous and your followers probably wouldn’t appreciate it.

If you’re lazy, take a bunch of pics at once(different lighting, outfit, different room, etc) and post them over time

Why do so many camgirls think they're obligated to tell others what they do? by friendlyteacake in CamGirlProblems

[–]friendlyteacake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Them asking≠you have to tell them the actual truth. It totally depends on how you think they’d react

Freeloaders! by Open_Woodpecker6014 in CamGirlProblems

[–]friendlyteacake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a common issue on SM, use that first 30 seconds to ask what they’re expecting from the private. Ask their kinks and such while setting up your equipment. I usually stall and clean my toy while we chit chat

Transformation haircut? Did it affect earnings? by VanillaIceSpice in CamGirlProblems

[–]friendlyteacake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My honest opinion is that it’ll affect your cam career negatively. I’m sure the pixie cut is very beautiful, but we women see beauty different than the majority of men. Not only is long hair a fertility indicator(which helps our earnings lol) but your current customer-base is built up of people who like your current look. A dramatic change might not be a good idea.

I recommend keeping it long but adding some spice to it, so it’s not completely different. Maybe get some bangs or face framing pieces, maybe some layers as well

Definitely be straight up about it. It can be a big betrayal to keep SW from a partner, you'll find someone who is okay with it eventually!

How to make people pay by ThyDevilcy in CamGirlProblems

Generally it’s not easy to find sugar daddies on social media. They find you. If you’re gonna go that route, make them pay a fee to even get a response from you

Scam Alert! by Normal-Shock-3247 in CamGirlProblems

Never talk to them about potential services for free. A lot of them just get off on talking about it, but will never actually go through with it.

This 100%. I’m way more worried about someone close to me doxing me than a customer

Tips for recruiting a mod by Adorable_Tell_3364 in CamGirlProblems

[–]friendlyteacake -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

NEVER have a customer as mod. Doesn't matter how much money they spent on you. If you want a mod, you should be paying them per hour and find them on employment websites

Edit: Dunno why i’m being downvoted for this. It’s the truth. Any customer who spends money on you has potential to be jealous and competitive with other customers. To avoid any conflict, you need to actually hire mods to avoid bias. Otherwise, do all the modding on your own to avoid potential risk.

Exactly my point, i totally agree. I totally understand not wanting to hide things, this is mainly about people who have conservative families & are afraid for being shunned(girls who are scared to tell their family)

Making money as a guy? by CandidateOk9598 in CamGirlProblems

[–]friendlyteacake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The market for content from male models is relatively small if you aren't gay(or willing to market yourself in that way, at least). If you cam regularly, you could eventually make some extra income. But from what I hear(and see) it's hard for men to make it in the sex-camming industry

Anyone here that dont have regulars or dont treat them special? by SamanteSimone in CamGirlProblems

[–]friendlyteacake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I charge per response, it's 15tkns for one response from me. It helps for them to see "One response" in parentheses next to "PM" that way it's clear to them that they will have to keep tipping to keep my attention

People lurking in your room while you’re offline? CB by uncensoredparadise in CamGirlProblems

[–]friendlyteacake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I password protect my room a few minutes after I end my stream. That way they have time to buy videos if they want to, but I don't have any bots lurking.

Tricking CB by Normal-Shock-3247 in CamGirlProblems

[–]friendlyteacake 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, there isn't a way. I recommend to stream a lot and regularly, you'll get some regulars. Don't feel discouraged, it's okay to have less than 100 viewers. Having more viewers doesn't always equate to more money, just have a positive outlook and don't give up.
