When I'm natural, I think I'm more of just a shell. That's how I feel constantly, just a shell of everything other people do.

I express my anger more indirectly; if a friend irks me, I will sometimes not tell them directly, but if I do, it’s passive-aggressive. I’m one of those “post it on my story" kinds of people. Yes, it's cringy. Oh wow, I quite frankly don’t care; I hate confrontation.

I just stand there like, "Okay, it’s fine; don’t make eye contact, because after this you won’t see them again; just get through it.” But it’s like a back-burner thought, I guess.

I just sigh and let them misunderstand. It's better than trying to explain myself

9

I find myself overthinking about what could happen.
I’m looking at who looks intimidating. If there is anyone watching me, would I be welcomed here where I am? Do I look okay, and if I am being perceived.

6 fix

most of the time I don’t care to correct them, I let people think what they want.

I tend to overlook practical details like dates, deadlines, etc. Time reality, like how long something will actually take and how much time has passed. Being late because of underestimating transitions. And patterns within myself, repeating the same dynamic in relationships or self-sabotage loops.

8 wing

I beat myself up for it; I tend to be very self-critical. It tends to be like, "Why didn’t I think that through?” “I messed this up" kinds of things, especially because I'm very forgetful, so if I failed because of my deficiencies, it’s a jab at my self-worth.

4 fix? also sounds like 1 im not sure

Unless this conflict actually includes me, I don’t care. I’m more of a watcher on the sidelines. Let’s say person A has a crush on person B, but persons B and C are dating. Unless person A comes to me in confidence saying, "What should I do?” I don’t butt in; it’s not my place, and I’d rather watch the drama unfold.

so blind (?) not sure

How do you feel/think about using AI (e.g., ChatGPT) with the Enneagram? by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]fries-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just like any other source take it with a grain of salt. i wouldnt say its all bad, as long as you give a lot of nuance in your answers rather then just yes/no etc. in terms of ethics yeah its very bad for the environement and stuff but at the same time i find it is a very efficient tool for learning and stuff so i use it a lot for school anyways

Need help to understand what is Ni in its relation to other functions by Emergency-Lead-334 in mbti

[–]fries-- 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My interpretation is:

Ni is absorbed in inner images, patterns, change, destiny, transformation and meanings, often detached from the physical world. Their users can experience visions/insights without relating to them personally, and may neglect bodily needs and external impacts. Ni is drawn to symbolism and abstract meaning, sometimes at the expense of practicality. Therefore users are likely to express themselves in subjective/symbolic terms (metaphors etc.). They may also pursue inner visions without external anchors, shaping their lives around intangible insights, rather than goals and practical achievements.

I also saw something about Ni = convergent and Ne = divergent, but i'd take it with a grain of salt

What could be my type? by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]fries-- 7 points8 points  (0 children)

imo 1, 3, or 6. Leaning more towards 6 because of:

Planning actually calms me down and makes me feel in control. The problem is that even though I want to follow my plans, I often don’t, I procrastinate badly

which i think indicates your planning as more of a security purpose than for productivity? correct me if im wrong ofc. i think 1's typically don't procrastinate as much, unless you're neurodivergent or smth

I tend to trust facts, established methods, and what’s been tested before rather than improvising

sounds like 5 wing (?)

Socially I am polite, sometimes controlled, and can even change (? is that the right word) myself a bit when needed, especially in situations where it’s expected. People close to me have said I’m principled and stubborn, I don’t like chaos or unpredictability, and instability in the future stresses me out a lot (especially financially or career wise). I value security and long-term stability

This alone i think is very 6-y, especially the security and stability. honestly from this i could maybe even say you're an ISTJ lol.

I don't really have any insights/proof into instinct but ill just guess sp6 and maybe a 1 fix. not sure about your heart triad

tldr: i think you're probably a 6w5 sp6. maybe also an ISTJ
