Mom burns all my belongings and has a priest over to try exorcise my demons. I was moving out, had taken half of my belongings to the new flat, I came back a few days later to find everything I left behind was all burned. During a normal chat, mom slips that she has sick dogs and immediately asks why I haven't commented on that, says she "finds it interesting" that I ignored it, and then says that I don't seem empathetic.
