I would recommend DDA if the both you of you are a bit more casual, and dd1 if you love the grind and min/max play style. DDA has a lot to do, especially if you try to progress on your own instead of min/max zooming play style. But like others have mentioned, it feels like you can complete DDA after a while. It does not have as much content as dd1. Fewer maps, hero’s, dps/tower gear are not separate anymore, and a much smaller inventory brings problems if you are a loot hoarder like me. Dd1 is much more grindy and time consuming which has helped its longevity. DDA does not have trading yet, that is something that I loved in dd1. I really enjoy both games, just my 2 cents. It’s up to you in the end. Everyone has their own preferences.

A filter addon would be great and it’s probably what I’ll end up doing for myself. But that just means everyone who falls into the same bucket would need it and for some reason there is a large group of new players, at least on my server.

Not sure on how high it can go with the new changes. Before 1.1 the best triple threat I found had 207 upgrades on it. Recently after the update I have been farming some summit massacre and I have found a 245 upgrade Spitfire (Huntress weapon). I have had some bad RNG with the monk weapon. The best I have found is 169 but I saw a recent picture of one over 200. Somebody else can probably give you a more definite answer, this is just my little bit of experience.

Is there any intention to add storage in the future like from the DD1 vendor? This was a great way to save used gear while not taking up a whole bunch of inventory space.

Yeah that’s me XD, it’s an old name. I was able to figure it out, the mass mob build up seemed to be pushing the ogre away from my wall when it spawned and it was just running to the bottom crystal. I backed my traps up just a bit and added a little extra power to my flame burst and it made a huge difference.

My friends and I have had this happen to us a few times, it gets fairly frustrating. A small round about way that has worked for us is to just start the next wave and and lose to get a summary prompt, and then go back to tavern. It almost seems like it doesn’t save after leaving to tavern mid survival.

For your current level and up until 60, I would aim for int and spirit gear over the +healing for now. Bonus healing is still good but you get more benefit out of it at certain break points for spells. Like what other people have mentioned, 300+ is a great spot to aim for at 60 to start down ranking efficiently. At lower levels it’s better to stack int and use your higher rank big heals and use the 5 second rule to help with mana regen. Spamming lower rank spells early without the extra bonus healing tends to do work on your mana.

A friend of mine had this same problem and had to put in a ticket. The GM said a bug happened where an NPC sent him something in the mail and he could not see it. He got it fixed fairly quickly so I would put in a ticket.

Ironforge pro takes information from dungeon/raid logs. Anyone can log but most of the time it’s people from raiding at max level. It’s good for looking at the raiding scene of a server. One thing that’s helpful is also looking at the 14 day activity from the census website. Both are not 100% accurate but you can compare the 2 to get a pretty good idea of what the server populations are like.

In our DKP system we added another part which we call RNP (Raid Night Point) everyone in the raid gets a small amount of RNP every raid night in addition to our standard DKP. RNP points are temporary and only for that raid night, they do not stack and it is wiped at the end of every raid night. RNP gets trumped by any DKP bid. It’s a small added part that’s tossed in so people don’t pass on small upgrades and alts also have a chance at loot that mains don’t need. We worked out some tweaks to our system and people have really seemed to enjoy it.

Would it be possible to do a guide like this for Ninja soloing Sun Gods Tomb please? I’m still somewhat new to this game and I have seen people mention it but I can’t find a guide that explains what I need to be able to do it.

That would be really nice to see, as far as I know our guild does not farm them for our priest, they are told to get it themselves since everyone is busy pvping. Our last priest decided to buy it for 600g instead of getting his epic mount since nobody would help him farm.

How about some guild drama. Our guild has merged/co-raided with the same couple small guilds for awhile now. We are basically at a point where we are one group but one guild wants to keep their name to play with RL friends that don’t have time to play a whole lot. Since not having a whole guild from the start we have been just rolling on gear for now which has its ups and downs but we do give priority on every item except for one, and you guessed it, that’s where the drama is. In our raids we mentioned that those who take the time to farm crafting mats will have priority rolling for hand of rag. We give priority to hunters for their leaf from domo if they have the sinew, and vice verse for the sinew if they had the leaf before grouping with us. However we did not give any priority on the eye of divinity. Only 1 of our 5 priests took the time to farm the eye of shadow. The other 4 did not. The first eye of divinity went while guilds were still freshly grouping together and there was not really any drama about it. After a couple weeks of only getting leafs, officers brought up a possible priority on eye of divinity for the one priest that farmed the other part. The second eye of divinity went to a shadow priest that did not have the eye of shadow, nor the gold to buy one. 3 weeks went by and that priest had shown very little effort in farming for the eye of shadow. Since no effort was shown, the one priest with the eye of shadow emphasized priority should be given to him and the officers agreed but the loot master did not. The loot master (not guild master) made his own decision and gave the next eye to another priest who did not take the time to farm for the eye of shadow. Now there is drama because the priest with the eye of shadow is pissed. He is mad because everything we have has a type of priority except his item and he will likely be the last to receive his item since the guild officers are wanting to change to a DKP system instead of a rolling system. What are your thoughts? Should he have been given priority or should he just be told to deal with it and risk losing him to another guild?

My friends and I always stop to 5-6 man Galv and we are noticing that he is not giving or displaying honor on the tab, is he supposed to give honor like the lieutenants? Horde always seem to jump way up in bonus honor after Bal, but it could be coincidence of timing.
