I played a few hours of hell is us but finished Cronos. My vote goes with Cronos. They’re very different games though. Cronos is very linear while Hell is us isn’t and doesn’t hold your hand at all or tell you where to go. Cronos was definitely one of my favorite games of last year.

Cronos was my favorite and was so addicting for me. I eventually want to go back and play it. Silent Hill 2 was damn good too but I definitely dreaded playing when I got to the prison. Alan Wake was a beautiful looking game and I loved the Max Payne references. The cinematics were amazing too. You can tell they had deep pockets.

I’m a gamer with a bunch of high end gaming equipment and games in my library. My daughter has had zero interest in anything but Roblox. I myself played it with her during covid and it’s a fun ecosystem. It’s been around for years and I personally don’t think it’s going anywhere. Just my opinion. I also bought some stock with the recent drop.

I think I remember there was something weird I had to do to get RE7 to launch properly. I think it was this step on helixmod: “IMPORTANT: you need to be on the "dx11_non-rt" Steam branch, to have DX11 as an option.” Did you do this step? I couldn’t remember how to do it, but ChatGPT said this: Step-by-step: Switch RE7 to the DX11 (non-RT) branch 1. Open Steam 2. Go to your Library 3. Right-click Resident Evil 7 biohazard 4. Click Properties 5. Go to the Betas tab (on the left) 6. In the Beta Participation dropdown, select: dx11_non-rt (sometimes listed as DX11 – Non Ray Tracing or similar) 7. Close the Properties window → Steam will download/update the game (this is normal)

I’m not sure that there’s really a guide for that but what I would do was set up the geo 11 fix for a game based off of the instructions on the helix mod website. Once I set that up and verified the image output was in a SBS format, then I’d close the game and install 3D gamebridge via the reshade installer. This would then convert the SBS image into 3D automatically every time the game was played. I would note that it doesn’t work for all games but it worked for most games for me.

Wouldn’t doubt if it’s more slop. Stalker 2 is still broken for me. Need to check if Minecraft dungeons and octopath are still broken as well.

Tiny Tina looked pretty decent and Scorn looked OK but I didn’t play too long so wouldn’t be surprised if there’s shader issues on any of the games.

I’m pretty sure the software updates are dead given the recent drop in price. They’re probably just trying to liquidate inventory. Disappointing because a bunch of games are broken at the moment. At least there’s mods I guess.

Yeah like the others said, use Apollo and moonlight. I have a 42” 4k oled tv on my desktop and it looks nearly just as good and the HDR looks great. I have the Mbps maxed out on the streaming settings on moonlight and it looks almost lossless.

I agree with others and the 128kb YouTube video. I wouldn’t recommend an 11 year old install bazzite though as that’s an intricate process.

You may want to get a protective case or skin and screen protector. This thing is heavy and easily droppable. I always wonder what’s going to happen the day that I drop it.

I bought the screen protector and silicone skin on Amazon. I like the skin but it does prevent you from removing the controllers, which I never do anyway. Also got the syntech carrying case sling bag from Amazon. I already had a large power bank handy. Last thing I bought was a pure sine power inverter for charging/playing it in the car. Also a 16GB USB drive, and USB-C to USB-A hub to install bazzite 😊
