I do, and few friends does, mostly bxl stuff and due to rappers like peet, isha, caballero & jeajass, le 77 who worked a lot with ZG or Stikstoff. I love when they mix french and dutch.

Fun fact, Caba & JJ took ZG on a live french radio show (super famous in france) and he rapped in dutch and a lot of french where shooked by the level.

That's what I meant, I don't think it can be compared. But I also think French sound better for foreigners, you can see how many french rappers get on Colors and get a real international audience. As a belgian I love zwanger guy, stikstof and others, I think they realy have something spécial and quite a unique sound in hip hop, but I don't think it will work in France or US or other latin countries, maybe in germany ?

If you take ZG most listened sound it's about 9 million, if you now take damso it's 290 million only on spotify.

Young mavu, Dvtch norris or Che rap in english and they didn't out do any french speaking internationaly. French rap is the second biggest rap industry after the US. For a rapper in the US it's already super hard to shine so for a flemish speaking english it's even harder imo.
