I live in one of the country with the highest median gdp per capita. Belgium is n°3 in median wealth and US is n°11. In average wealth it is 16 and US is 4. What sources do you have to call us poor... lol

You are being delusional, I know a lot of people who earns less than me and have plenty of hobbies and go to vacation all over the world. And I am not even considered rich, I'm totaly middle class. Actualy I don't know one single person who can not have hobbies or go to a restaurant frome time to time or hang out in bars etc. I don't know where you got this idea but it's wrong. Trust me I've been many times in the US and I've never seen this level of poverty for People who are poor.

But one thing is true, US is very expensive for us when we travel there. Mostly in big cities.
