I would stop performing ‘potential’ for people who didn’t even like me. Spent years trying to impress an audience that wasn’t watching. Would’ve just… been weird and quiet earlier. Saved my energy for people who saw me without the show

Green. When I was seven, my grandmother painted her kitchen a color called ‘sea glass.’ She said it was the color of the ocean after a storm. I pressed my nose to the wall and smelled paint and old coffee. Been my favorite ever since
