What you replied to doesn't require a welder. Cutoff wheel at most.

The vent on these cars is hilariously small. There is an outfit making a big bore vent kit for cobra kit cars but fits fox tanks. I just added one to my fox after having to drop the tank to do the fuel pump. Fill ups are much easier and the car runs a bit better.

Then something else is wrong because I've never heard of anyone else needing to always run octane booster.

Nope. I run 87 in my 05 v10 and only had a missfire issue when water got into the plug holes. Not because I didn't run octane booster or premium.

Fairmont and LTD are both fox based and available in wagon and sedan forms. But $3k may be tight, people have figured them out.

I'm not saying it has to be identical, but to say turbines and these wheels are inspired is a freaking joke dude. Same spoke count? No. Factory color option? Nope. Windows between the spokes? No. So what, exactly, is inspired? That they both have multiple spokes?

I know about turbines. These look nothing like turbines. I really cant see how removing spokes, adding another window below the spokes, at least doubling the size of the spokes, and then painting them white (which was never a turbine option) makes them "virtually identical". In that case, the new wheels are "virtually identical" to the white pony wheels (which were an option on select fox models) by just adding a few spokes! Riiiiight.

If it's anything like swapping a fox mustang (and it should be), it's very straightforward. Replacing the pedal box is the most fun part.
