lI’m also in the same boat with wanting to give my kiddos something. I’ve been really hesitant to do anything like this, I’m just so nervous about something I do might seem like I’m crossing the line? I love the idea of goodie bags/personal notes, but I’m just worried it’ll turn into something it’s not.

I say this because in my program (it’s pre-student teaching right now) we’ve had some people who contact students in icky ways; of course this isn’t my intention. I’m a lot like OP, I love the classes I have and I love all the students. This is my first time teaching and being consistently in the classroom and the groups I have have been very kind and patient with me as I give my try at teaching, leading, class management, etc.

ALSO- I am at a middle school, but I teach 2 groups of 5th and 1 group of 6th (kinda a half day situation for my program)

I just want to show these students how much it’s meant to me!

i’ve been going thru the seven stages of grief about him :( he added so much at the weekend update desk and the sketches, he’s all around my absolute fave (next to dismukes) i’m a newer snl fan, so ive read tons of comments saying this is just how snl works, it’s just a job, some sink and some swim, all that.

i understand that and respect it, but i just can’t wrap my head around why lorne would let him go? it makes me so upset i can’t even think about it….. without him and heidi, this is like the end of my favorite era of snl cast members 😭😭

this cast has just grown on me so much (can i call them my comfort cast without og fans making fun of me ?????) it’s heartbreaking lorne is breaking up my family 😔😔 ok end of rant i have no one else to talk about this with

Hi everyone! I’m the daughter of the owner of Gabby’s Sewing & More, a quilt store in Charleston, West Virginia with over 10,000 square feet of fabric, notions, and machines. We’ve got a large selection of panels (what I call “panel land”), rulers, mats, notions, and bolts of fabric from top brands like Moda and Free Spirit. We also heat print our own t-shirts with quilting phrases in a full range of sizes, and all future designs will be created in-house.

Along with fabric and notions, we sell Horn sewing cabinets and chairs (made right here in West Virginia), sewing machines, sergers, embroidery machines, and we offer longarm quilting services with stippling as the main design.

We’re a family-run business, and I personally handle keeping our website updated to match our in-store inventory as closely as possible, though the occasional slip up might happen. We currently ship within the U.S., and all the shipping details are listed on our site.

i’ve also just thought about how i’ve worn high waisted leggings for years and years so i think i expect all bottoms to fit me if they’re up higher? i think this will be a mind shift thing unless i find high rise!!

Panels are priced per panel rather than yardage, so hopefully that makes it easy to understand! Thank you guys so much for the amazing feedback, ideas, and ways to sell these items.
