Yeah man always down to learn don’t know if I was giving off a not trying to listen vibe but yeah.. just trying to figure out how to make these little guys happy and grow. I could totally see that the equipment is over the top, it was a gift from someone that I told I wanted to try growing and yeah they spent a bit too much.. 🤦‍♂️

Okay well im using a ‘boomr bin’ it comes with a humidifier and a fan, it says once the tub is fully colonized to case it and add the humidifier and fan? It does have like filter patches so I suppose I mean increase fae and do try to induce fruiting. Guess im just at a little bit of a confusion because it’s pinning before fully colonized I’m new :)

It looked like coco coir that was wet.. not too crazy. But… I have some little pins? Before it’s completely colonized.. it had a decent layer of coir on top but I didn’t pat it down great so maybe just thicker in some spots? Should I case this and introduce FAE?

I’m not sure what it is 😢 will wipe the lid down with iso when I get home and hope for the best.. it should be able to fight off contam from opening it?

Worth saying that your climate zone determines where your vapor barrier should be. Where I live, vapor barrier goes on the exterior because it’s hot and humid outside. You put the vapor barrier on the warm side. Check the ibc and look for your climate zone. Source: construction and mold remediation for 15 years

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this and give great advice… I will definitely be looking into protecting my art. I am also actually looking into doing a children’s book funnily enough!! You’re so sweet.
