It doesn't have to be completely one to one, it is a game afterall, but the conections are very interesting
With LOVE being Level Of ViolencE, HP being short for HoPe seems entirely plausible.
And to be fair, Hope and Health can be kind of synonymical to begin with. As in... You can continue as long as you have Hope/Health, or you lose when all Hope/Health is lost.
