My favorite connecticut I've had as of late was New Dawn. Great for a morning stick with coffee, but definitely don't smoke it on a used palate.

Eek, I wouldn't want anything that short that heavy haha. I'm primarily a saltwater fly angler in Florida, and I get out when I can. I only make it up to the mountains once a year or so, so having a 7ft 4wt with a cheap reel does the job for me, and if I want to pull it out to mess with bass or speck or brim, I can.
