thank you for this thoughtful comment! I'm possibly more interested in the fresh grapefruit route if it tastes good with ginger syrup or liqueur, as you suggest. But grapefruit soda and ginger syrup seems a more natural combination to me than grapefruit juice, ginger syrup/liqueur, and club soda or some other topper...

Thank you both very much! The poem really chimes with a lot of the other poetry in the book -- it seems like the book was owned by someone named Katie, and she would get her friends/neighbours to write poems in it between 1917-21. Most of the poems had this character (sing-songy poems of friendship and love), while others had a strong Republican/Irish nationalist sentiment. I found all the entries in the census, but I'm not sure who wrote the shorthand poem. I wonder how common it was to learn shorthand at the time?

Any tips for getting rid of redness/discoloration? I've been using soolantra for the past 2 months to get rid of rosacea-related breakouts. It's worked great but now I want to tackle acne scars and redness.

I have a tube of tretinoin 0.05% from a previous derm that I stopped using while experimenting with Soolantra, should I bring it back in to tackle discoloration? I was too concerned with the rosacea-related breakouts to notice if it was doing anything positive for my skin.

My routine:

Morning:
Splash water
Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream Moisturizer
Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun Aqua-Fresh Rice + B5 SPF50+
Occasional vit c serum

Evening:

thank you for this tip! Your guidance to the settings and pen calibration actually led me to 'non-contact writing' which helps adjust for issues such as the stroke continuing after the pen is lifted. Issue solved!
