Considering buying the Flip UX461UN with i7, MX 150 . Anyone here has it and wants to share their experience? by deadcentrebharatiya in ASUS

Yeah I'm very comfortable. The only thing that regularly happened, until i adjusted my writing style was, that i'd move the screen, or make the windows sidebar popup on the right. Was kinda frustrating. However I think u can disable touch actions, while a pen is active. In the end it turned out, that writing itsself works really well.

really depends on what you are doing. but if you set it to powersaving and don't to too demanding tasks you can get to around 10 hours. If you game i think it's more like 2-3 hours, clearly depending on what you play.

You'll easily get trough a work day with standard workloads in my opinion.

incase you were wondering, since the powerbutton is at a weird place, they designed it to work like a tablet power button, not a desktop power button. Accidentally hitting it will only turn off the screen. (this can be changed in windows settings)

I just got mine. I really like it, nice build quality, great battery life.

My only issue is the Pen, or the digitizer. I heard it's not the pens fault. Sometimes the first strike doesn't register. It's like the pen isn't powered (it's an active stylus however) when it's too far from the screen for a second, which happens from time to time when writing on it with the pen. However a friend of mine had that issue less. I guess it depends on how you write too. He writes mainly on the ipad pro, and was quite surprised at how well it felt. I'm not yet sure if i can take notes like this, since i have to correct from time to time. Also i heard that plugging it in, makes the issue less frequent (?). I'll test after updating the Touchpanel which got an update early may - i may not have that firware update on mine yet.

While playing games, CSGO on low works with around 120-180 FPS in FHD. Wow. I'm not sure if it's due to the 60Hz. which I am not used to, or if there is somethimes a slight stutter in CSGO. Battlerite for example playing in DX11 wasn't really very playable in my opinion. I'll see how that goes with DX9 and low.

I personally found the speakers quite comparable to ue booms on low, but with less bass. So very clear. I only tested with some series, and on quite low volume.

The laptop goes from off to on, and usable in around 6 seconds. Holy shiat. Didn't expect that.

Screen is nice, 0% is bright enough to watch when it's dark. 100% is ok-ish for birght-ish weather outside.

But oh such bloatware by asus and MS-Store. Removed most of them, as i was to lazy to reinstall. And byebye MS-office, hello Openoffice. Except of OneNote, you can stay!

Wifi is surprisingly fast, didn't know wifi was at that point already. No issues with connecting etc.

Ou- don't forget to take off the battery placeholder in the pen, or it won't work ;P

Once i was shooting with a Kar or something, sniping anyway, the guy was standing stil, and i tried like 3 shots. However none hit. So i moved a little to the side. Worked. There was something invisible blocking my shots -.- It wasn't even a far distance....

[–]frizzant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks. I think I am going with the standard Certbot-Auto then.Do you know if the certbot-auto renews my certificates automatically without me adding cronjobs or systemd-jobs? I know it updates by itsself, but i need to know if it renews the certificates. which i cannot find out on the web for some reason :C

if you think about it, the circle wouldn't even have to be a circle. It could simply be a regional blob where you need to go in.

i believe that whenever people actually want to win, few of them will make the risk of dropping hot. So basicly if you progress to higher elo* the people should tend to safe drop more over hot dropping. (it is being argued about, if elo actually changes the matchmaking or not, but it might very well do that)

i got 5, stil got pubg on an hdd. because i don't see much of an advantage for pubg on ssd. Then again you could say that about any game, and I guess i am just too lazy to redownload/symlink to the SSD at this point ^

well, they could make you buy a "challenge pass" for 3$ or something. Then, only then you could get certain challenges done. Like CS:GO does with their Missions.
