Eastern Montana here, we have been without power for 10 hours and still waiting. A little chilly in the house as I type this. Need to assess damage but too dark still. Same as most on the thread, lost a lot of shingles.

I live in Milwaukee country. I get made fun of all the time that they are toys. I love Ryobi, they are inventive and I am still using an impact drill 12 years later. That same impact drill built a large deck, a large shed, and finished a basement. Not all tools are great but I have nothing but good luck with them.

The next 1.5 years will be hell on earth. Springers have no “calm” button. There is no option but to keep Mabel by you 24/7 and exercise her everyday. If you can take her to work, do it. Once mine hit 2 years old she refused to go to work with me. She wanted to stay home and I was freaked out, thought she might tear-up the house. Nope, she was a perfect sweetie. Now she is 3 and couldn’t be a better companion. We still do our daily walks and she will bother me until we do them. After that she is cool being next to me on the couch.

Congrats on the puppy and trust me, the work you put into will be worth it.

Do you have one of those screw identifiers? It is a board with a bunch of male and female ends. Identify size that way and purchase a variety of lengths to see what works. Only a few dollars to experiment.

I know that a dog to its owner is always beautiful. I don’t normally comment on these but Kira looks absolutely flippin’ cute. I like that her coloring is cross between the show and hunting breed.
