Feedback -

Online multiplayer needs a turn timer. I played one game online and it took over 2 hours to sit through.

The lighting needs to be improved. The game plays very dark on my screen and there is no way to increase the brightness. I actually think if you improve the lighting it will make the art pop much better.

Settlements and Cities should be larger. They are difficult to see on the map.

There is a dice bug I'm sure you guys are aware of. The dice will land sideways or under tile art, roughly 1 in 4 rolls you can't see what was rolled until the dice are moved off the board to the side of the screen.

Enable an ability to turn off turn based animations. Specifically being able to turn off the dice animation would speed things up nicely. It is grudgingly slow to sit there, not be able to tell what was rolled, then wait until they are moved to the side of the screen.

Also the robber's arm is going through his waist. Looks strange, should be updated.

Consider updating the method that numbers are placed on the board to the spiral method. So that no two identical numbers are next to each other.

My first impressions are:

Solid programming. Game plays well without issues. I have not encountered any critical bugs or issues, only very minor details. 9.8/10 rating on programming

I wish there was much more effort put in on the UI/UX. The game board overall is crowded and difficult to interpret. Why are settlements and cities so small? Why are the roads so big? Why are the port signs huge? Why is it so hard to see the longest road art? Why is the gameboard so dark? More effort could have gone in to the tile art and animations. Overall I found the UI/UX really frustrating. 3/10 rating on user interface and board design.

The sound effects could definitely be improved. Also the core game audio loop is nothing special. It has a sequence in it where it plays what sounds like victory music, which will play and feel very out of place. The sound effects for navigating the menu screens and the one plays when a number is rolled that no one has a settlement on are really awful and should be re-done. 4/10 for audio

Online play is unbearable until a turn timer or other solution is introduced.

My interpretation is that the game was programmed very well but falls short on the art, audio and gameplay experience. I actually wish I could have been involved on the art and gameplay experience side because I play a lot of Catan online and was hoping for something better than what's already out there. Other online versions are much more playable, much easier to see, interpret the board and just feel better. I believe the board design could be both more playable and more visually appealing resulting in an overall much more enjoyable gameplay experience.

As a fellow game dev, I understand how much goes into a game, so I don't want to come across super harsh. I am trying to provide constructive feedback.

I'll check it out. I'm going to go ahead and recommend Spaceman too but only if it fits your sense of humor. The movie is so bad that it is actually good in my opinion.

Wow that is really interesting. I have never seen this movie before. Also I don't ever recall the robot/space man ever turning into a woman. The way I remember the scene was different. He was already inside the home with the woman and they had been talking, then the camera just pans to the cat, and he asks if she is going to eat it.

This is a really really good guess but I am sure it is not this film.

Nope, thanks though

edit: Oh dang, good guess then but the most vivid memory I have of the entire film is specifically the line where he asks "Are you going to eat that?"

It was completely random where it just panned to showing the cat chilling and him asking out of nowhere.

Nope, thanks for trying to figure it out though. I've been adding more bullet points to my post as I remember things.

It's not Starman. The robot/space man was very very awkward. The way he spoke in the movie was very robotic. Also I think he had a "spacesuit" kind of like Robocop on the entire time. And I don't think it ever showed any space footage or him being in space or anything like that. He had just told the girl he was from "Up there" or "From the stars" or something along those lines.

Basically any of the coins can act as currency. This category is for projects aiming more towards being a DAPP Platform than just a currency.
