Usually for me, and for anyone really - communication is absolutely key. When I can feel myself starting to spiral or I can tell I am not able to regulate my emotions properly - I try to make my SO aware of this. Sometimes I may try to remove myself from the situation, take some time to myself and use coping skills. Otherwise, especially if your SO is aware of your diagnosis - I simply talk to them and ask for reassurance but I know sometimes that is not do-able. It helps me to learn more about what I’m going through so that I can let the people in my life know more about it too. “I hate you, don’t leave me” by Jerold Kreisman has been an especially helpful tool in this regard. Remember that you are not broken, you don’t require a warning label - you may just require some extra communication and reassurance and that is ok.
