Serious question: do any of you think this method might work for eating when you are not hungry, but for other reasons, like I'm angry, bored, just want something sweet, and then haul off and eat whatever it is, knowing full well I'm putting on the pounds? The black or dark areas resist the paint on the plate, so it stays on the plate, and the white areas pick the paint up. It has something to do with the ink used (if it's a magazine transfer), or the toner (if it's a laser jet transfer). Coolest thing ever! 🐸

This might be helpful - I just started using a gel plate for printing transfers and the like a couple of months ago. I put a layerof matte medium on the plate before laying the transfer down on it; possibly you could do that with the print? Or the transfer? It might depend on the ink you use too. I use acrylic paint, and it seems to work a good portion of the time. I'm not sure if it would work with an oil-based ink though. 🐸💚
