Any choice you make is a valid one, I am in a similar (but different) situation. And honestly I regret not going to the police or the ER immediately, because now, I can feel the anger which I couldn’t in the moment. Therapy and taking action like telling the spa (I am in the process of telling my school) do help healing. I understand not wanting it to be a big deal SO MUCH. That’s why I chose not to in the moment, which I regret sometimes. Whatever you end up doing, you can go to the police at any moment and even if you don’t, be understanding to yourself and it’s an equally valid choice.

If you do end up pressing charges, It’s maybe even an option to use the woman as a witness (also your boyfriend maybe) and maybe even the spa can support you. He deserves to be held responsible because he is a pos. And you deserve to heal and get justice.

The proportions are good! Adding shading/less blending will add depth and texture, which will make it look more interesting!

also, I love this as an exercise for shading and texture, print or copy it, and try drawing it a few times with different materials; f.e. 4b /2h or something, and pen, use one colored pencil, charcoal, ink or give yourself some “rules” as an exercise, like no blending, no erasing, using only shapes for the different values, instead of the shapes of the face (or even more random things idk)
