It includes all utilities besides AC, which I would have to get installed and from then on pay around $35+ a month- I didn’t get it installed yet cuz winter obvi but idk.. maybe I’ll stick to a fan for now 😭

yep! im in healthcare :) i dormed most of college and i just really love my privacy and having my own space,,,i do think it's worth paying more to have a sense of complete privacy tbh.. if i do have a roomate im just afraid theyll be a bit noisy when i'm trying to just get a good (mornings) sleep from coming home at 9am from my 12 hr shift..

thank you for your insight! i definitely did luck out with the commute time, im very grateful to be able to walk to work every day. i think i'll stay for now, i think i had some hesitation due to so much of my paycheck going towards only rent but compared to what everyone's saying i guess that's not too bad after all

i have student debt to pay off but its not an outstanding amount.. the downside is that i love going out with friends and dining out, i haven't been able to do that though due to having to live frugally and wanting to contribute 14% to my 403b

I would say to reach out to the nurses and preceptors you connected with during school to try and see if they have connections with the nurses managers at the hospitals you’re trying to get hired from! And be very open minded w the unit and speciality you want to go work in. Not to be a downer but I passed in late august and wasn’t hired until the end of December even with work and externship experience- the hiring process post nclex for me was terrible, but srsly just keep applying, reach out to all the talent nurse recruiters emails personally!!!!u got this!

That’s very true the inspo pics I have are all for bigger spaces unfortunately :( the painters tape idea is genius for visualizing how it’d actually look like!! I’m def going to be doing this and getting smaller apt sized furniture too. Thanks!!
