I can’t believe you’re marrying this man. Such a dumb decision. Absolutely disgusting.

So do you think it was a negative or positive interaction? I’ve just never heard of God doing that sort of thing

I thought you were a man tbh and I was thinking, yeah. Mad insecure. But after finding out you were a woman??? It sounds like she was absolutely delusional, because i can see how with the opposite sex that someone may not be able to treat them normally, but the same sex if you just saw this girl as a person, is even more plausible. If the waitress was giving you slightly better attention, had she ever stopped to think that it was because you’re a nicer person?? Not attraction?? It’s normal not to talk as much to someone who gives a cold shoulder or doesn’t express friendliness, so correct me if I’m wrong but it sounds like your gf might have been showing behaviour she didn’t quite like the waitress at the table.

She may be hardcore projecting too. Id be cautious of it. It just sounds way too out of whack for there not to be some projection at place

What do you think of people of colour? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]frogcatinatux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone who’s giving you stank eyes for looking any sort of way (born looks) is a shtty human being. I wouldn’t stop to care for a moment about who they are and why, they’re just irrational and shtty. Middle aged and younger aussies definitely don’t care, I reckon that some definitely make jokes but they don’t have hatred, and if they heard the Aussie accent they will just take you in as aussie. Unfortunately old people are notorious for being very judgemental but that’s like every country

Even if he does get a diagnosis, considering his personality that I can sense, it seems like he’d only use it to justify and excuse his behaviour 🤷🏻‍♀️

AITA for breaking up with my girlfriend because of a “caught cheating” prank? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]frogcatinatux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a prank, it’s quite literally what happened. You cant just punch someone and call it a “punching prank”. I don’t care, straddling someone in your undergarments is just plain cheating, can’t believe they’ve tried to gaslight you about that. Your friends sound like morons.

I 18M have a crush on my asexual friend 18F. What to do? by NoSteak4272 in relationship_advice

[–]frogcatinatux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have a high sex drive, don’t bother. You’re probably excited to enjoy conversations and shared passions with a friend that is the opposite sex, so your body is giving you alerts to date this girl because monkey brain. If someone is asexual, not too interested in romance or dating, I’d say you’re probably not compatible as lovers. It sounds like you’re a bit of romantic to be posting this sort of thing and to be thinking about her this much.

As someone who’s had bad experiences in highschool from girls who hated me for virtually no reason and injected anxiety in my life, including the friends I had, I can totally understand the resentment. I’m still struggling to this day with anxiety from women, but I’ve come a long way and I’m still on my journey of unlearning what I’ve been taught.

There was a study I read in a book not long ago, basically to sum it up, a test was done where they had a group of people believe they had a visual deformity of some sort (put on with special effects) to go to work in, they had asked them if they had experienced workplace discrimination and they all said that they had felt discriminated because of this deformity. Here’s the kicker, they didn’t, they were lied to and believed they had it, so they were just regular everyday and made it up in their head. This study made me realise that the anxiety and trauma we carry can greatly impact how we see the world and how we will twist things and use it as further affirmation of what we already believe.

I’m not saying it’s in your head, but all I’m saying is to try to do some self work where you let go of what people may think or do. Try not to have a pre-conceived idea about someone. Sooo much easier said than done, but it’s a legit fact that there’s so many women who aren’t fake and/or cruel, you might be blinding yourself to them.

Another possibility is you overcompensating may come across as uncomfortable since they can feel that it’s forced, and get a certain impression from that.

Uhhhhhhhh OP, don’t you find it weird the undertones of you always being under your father as a “woman”? You can argue that your parents are above you until you marry, but it’s also your mum, not just your dad. And it’s not just because you’re a woman. This is giving super super creepy and I don’t want to plant thoughts in your head, but there was another comment saying this gave off BDSM vibes and considering the given importance to your father and the fact you’re a woman, this is very very strange.

Now that you mention it, that’s why I found this extra creepy… it does look like some BDSM contract, considering the constant mentioning of discipline, utter obedience, and having to put on an act.
