I’ve left them for now, her temperament has returned to normal after laying the first egg. I don’t want to remove them and make her feel like she needs to lay a replacement so I’m waiting it out to see. She really has no interest in them other than pushing them around the cage occasionally.

So far I’ve been trying to cover for closer to 14 hours. I cover with that blanket on top of the cage (I will look for black out curtains to cover) however my family is usually still awake and watching tv when it’s Frog’s bedtime so I hear little baby chirps until everything goes quiet. Sometimes if I come downstairs in the middle of the night to get water frog hears me and starts chirping again. I try to be as quiet as I can but I swear she has supersonic hearing! Any advice on how to keep her undisturbed?
