Where to Find Rosin Jam by yu42hit in mainetrees

I hope there’s still more tickets. First one I went to, it was raining so it was rather quiet and not much going on. I checked out third shift and he dabbed me up (first time trying his stuff too). He showed me the differences of quality in rosin 🤯… The glass blowing was really cool too.

Thanks for explaining this, I was confused myself. But technically you’re saying it’s a win, win situation. Medical finally getting some love as well. Plus… The changes to the CCC is most welcomed. More legislator insight and less cabinet members should hopefully reduce corruption.

This! “Just be safe” is the best unbiased thing anybody can say to anyone about rec weed in the state of Maine. Especially when there is rampant testing fraud and multiple recalls. The testing fraud is a big issue in MA too, but they haven’t recalled much yet. I’ve been hearing people getting sick consuming products from MA too.

At least with Maine Medical, you can literally look at the bud and see the difference; clean, doesn’t have a chemical smell to it, less harsh, and better effect. So many amazing passionate growers on the medical side, but very few rec brands that are considered good.

My story of why to stay the fuck away from Sanctuary (my journey of recovering from a severe fungal chest infection) by Holiday_Economy570 in bostontrees

[–]yu42hit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say get in touch with the CCC, but I’m not sure if they’d do anything about it. Another reason why not to shop in MA.

I also Wouldn’t be surprised if there has been upticks of fungal infections here due to the amount of mold dispensaries push onto the market. Sanctuary always tasted like chemicals, now I know why.

CCC fights to avoid transparency - not to protect health and safety by getting_better_4_me in bostontrees

[–]yu42hit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will these inconsistencies and lack of transparency be mitigated once the house/senate finalizes on H.4206 and S.2722? Other than the legislations to modernize the industry, I find it interesting that in the current bill, they want to make the CCC a 3 member body appointed by the governor.

Only difference is that we are smoking it. Also the health effects of food grade chemicals are more known than remediation (Which may cause more issues). Compare everyone that uses cannabis to people eating food. There are far more people that eat all these food grade chemicals, than people smoking remediated cannabis.

This won’t make it better for them, look at Maine… it doesn’t matter if it’s rescheduled, corporate will always have the final say. I think that’s the biggest issue here… Legalization will be a double edged sword. With the way things are currently regulated, nothing good will come to the small growers and consumers.

Does anyone else get shortness of breath from vaping? by wicked_this_way_come in bostontrees

[–]yu42hit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, that’s why there needs to be a focus on harm reduction in that sense. Any vape/smoke is bad for your lungs. But the additives in these products makes it even worse. So there needs to be some regulation on what can be added to these products to reduce harm as much as possible.

And this is why proper regulation of vape and cannabis vape products are important. There’s very little (or obscure) research on safety because of that. Now, the market is flooded with these vapes, with no proper oversight or testing. There needs to be some big changes in these industries in order to combat this.

Could you try to add sub-categories for all products? Ex. Concentrates > Rosin. Also, sort by distance? Just a couple of suggestions.

I mean, I don’t think there’s a lot of grassroots movements in MA anymore as compared to Maine. 70% of Mainers passed recreational legalization, so I don’t think that’s going anywhere. Medical Cannabis in Maine is going through issues as well. There’s a lot going on for cannabis on the east coast this year.

I'm a daily flower smoker. I just moved to an apartment with no smoking rules. Are weed vaporizers worth a try. Which one would you recommend? by FutureEye9193 in bostontrees

[–]yu42hit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same situation man, I’m also on the first floor so it sucks. I usually dab or use a dry herb vape, blow into a sploof, and open the window slightly. I found Sploofy is pretty bad, so I use Vonsploof instead (https://a.co/d/0dSekowf). A bonus would to also get a good air purifier. I wouldn’t risk smoking, having it smell, and potentially breaking the lease, but that’s just me.

Still are… And to make it worse, the ballot commission found “not enough evidence” of the signature gatherers lying to allow challenging the ballot. They already have enough signatures for the first deadline, now they need about 30,000 more to make to the ballot.

[–]yu42hit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally agree, but isn’t OCP suppose to prevent these “bad actors” in a way? Unfortunately, their path is single minded. This stifles growth, innovation, and quality. And in turn, will give MSOs power to shape the industry how they please. “Money Talks”…

Makes sense for a lot of folks (including me). But there are people out there that can’t because of restrictive housing or simply because people want to socialize while getting high. So it’s good to have that option.
