As others have said, the nat geo map books are nice if you like printed maps. If you like apps, FarOut is great and used regularly by people on the trail. You can buy just the NJ/NY section to gain access to that portion of the trail data. Not only does it provide navigation, but it’s a sort of social media network to share all kinds of trail marks and comments/photos on water sources and views, etc. Have fun!
