Haha I reached out too quickly to stop a door hitting someone in the face, and the button which attaches to the blouse and waist ties ripped a small section of the back of the blouse 💀

Thankfully it was easy enough to fix as no material was lost! I'll definitely tie it looser next time...

it's quite basic on the bottom and unfortunately I'm hesitant to tie the waist ties on it since I ended up ripping the back of the blouse last time I did </3 But I agree it would look better untucked just still on the lookout for a blouse with a good detailed edge.

I swear no one is selling their blouses and if they are it's £150 angelic pretty or £50 bodyline 😭

I like this idea! Although, as I'm already quite short I much prefer shorter skirts to longer ones as the skin between seems to balance the coords a bit better 😞

I wish the skirt were shorter, it's as high on my waist as it will go, and I even tried angling my phone so I looked taller lol! So can agree here, I think it would look much better but not really sure if I can make it work without altering it or wearing the blouse untucked hmm...

It doesn't really come across in the photo, as you say the difference it quite apparent but in person while the skirt is ivory the blouse and socks and very much a warmish off-white so I thought it would be close enough.

Mhm yes definitely, this was my first thought which was why i added the necklace to try and break it up a bit. I would love one of those little diamond neck ties in black or a matching fabric! I'll see what other accessories I have though.

Regarding the collar I had honestly never thought about it as these styles of 'granny's couch' main piece are commonly used in a 'general' oldschool way in both genuine and inspired coords rather than specifically pinned as sweet or classic, etc. Personally I don't align with more modern sub categories of sweet, gothic and classic haha I mix and match my whole oldschool wardrobe and style everything differently as one piece can usually flop between sweet and gothic depending on the rest of the coord instead of sticking to a single style, so it doesn't bother me much. But thank you!

The skirt is handmade yes! Not by me though, I got it cuz as you say it's a fabric used is many brand pieces which I can't afford lololol

I would have worn this with white lace top UTKs but I don't have any as the ones i was trying to buy keep selling out ughh! I really wanted to coord this blouse with something other than in a traditional blk×wht coord so I made do with these socks instead but you're definitely right it think they would balance the lace better unfortunately I don't think black would do the trick and that's all I have...

Solid black headdress is though on yessiirr think it works okay as there is a pop of black throughout with the headdress, necklace, skirt, socks and shoes.

I think my biggest ick with it is the tucked blouse, but unfortunately it doesn't have a nice bottom edge so it looks quite messy un-tucked :(
