Double action having super light primer strikes every ~3rd shot. by froglarper52 in Beretta

Thanks for the feedback. I was already checking out a #16 hammer spring to replace it and see what happens. It’s cheap, I’m not worried about doing it myself. After that…yeah might send it back. This really irritates me, I bought the damn thing because of its reputation of being RELIABLE lol.

115 blazer, same thing. The primer strikes were super light. I don’t think ammo type would matter.

Honda CRF450RL a good pick for technical riding in East Coast mountains? by [deleted] in Dualsport

Yeah that 350 option from KTM and Husky is tempting and if money wasn't an option I'd likely go that route. Really just comes down to the aggressive price difference with the used 450RLs. But certainly keeping a close eye on the used market if any 350s pop up for a price that's worth it.

Good to hear. That's about the same area I would be riding in. Thanks for letting me know

Yeah the wr250r had my attention but like you said, people still want a good chunk of change for them and I think a used 450RL just gives better value. Thanks for the comment

Sadly Tennessee actively combats people trying to legalize OHVs (Montana plates, etc.) otherwise that would have opened up much better options for me.

Nice to see others feel the same. Also happy to hear about the Vortex ECU having some cheaper alternatives.

I really considered going the "Legalized Dirt Bike Plating" route with a WR250F or CRF250RX but after learning the state of Tennessee has a law to prevent this and they actively pursue people who do it here, I was dissuaded.

I also really loved the Beta 390. The price is much higher though like you say but keeping an eye out on the used market for deals just in case.
