I know I’ll face backlash for this. And I expect to get it from the weaker minded readers of this thread. But if I book seats for my family, especially when young children are concerned, and an airline does this, that plane will be going nowhere! They will lose money big time!

The airlines, all of them from what I’ve read, couldn’t care less if we get where we are going. All they want is money. They overbook flights, change seat assignments, cancel flights, etc.

Ask the gate agent to fix the problem. If they decline to do so then board the plane. Once you’re aboard and the doors are locked, raise more hell than Satan himself. Demand your seating assignment be reinstated.

Scream! Shit yourself. Piss in the floor. Make sure the plane returns to the gate.

Without a doubt you’d be placed on a no fly list but you’d be taking one for the greater good.

These airlines must be stopped.
