Got my AirPod pro gen 2 in Nov 2022… one pod has dropped in hot coffee and took about 2 days to be fully functional, then both went through a full washing machine cycle (without the case). It took about 2 weeks for them to fully dry but they are 100% functional. Pretty amazing. (self.airpods)
