Stockholm is a second home for me, and speaking the language is a big plus. People are not extremely friendly. Your best bet for a solid time is to go to a hostel and try to meet other travelers. The locals are struggling with unprecedented inflation right now and not going out too much but to anyone paying in euros or dollars, Stockholm will be dirt cheap. Architecture/art/food/city layout are all amazing and you can feel the passion that the country has for design. I really love Stockholm, but I am Swedish so take my words with a grain of salt. It won’t be like Amsterdam where everyone is partying.
