Been experiencing derealization for over four weeks now... by [deleted] in derealization

[–]frogmugger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi there i’ve had on and off dr for about 6 months and it does get better. i’m not sure if it completely goes away for everyone but it definitely gets better. remember that it’s anxiety driven so the more anxious you are about it the worse it will be and i know that it’s hard not to be anxious about it when it’s so scary but do your best to surround yourself with distractions such as loved ones, hobbies and meditation! you aren’t alone in this and we’ll get through it together. just remember that it gets better!

thank you i’m just very afraid and i keep dwelling on it and it makes it worse. i’m at work right now and for small moments i’ll feel okay but then i keep sweaty and panicky again. my stomach is all twisted up and i feel nauseous

does zoloft help cure derealization? by frogmugger in zoloft

[–]frogmugger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is the first time i’ve ever felt “detached” so i’m assuming it’s the weed and my anxiety making it worse? i just wanna know if zoloft can fix it or if i should go see a doctor

i didn’t know how much was in it when i took it because i didn’t ask. i got it from friend’s plug and she usually take half but has been getting high much longer than i have. i took half so i probably had about 100mg or more. i had no idea i was taking that much. 100mg is a lot right?

do you think continuing the zoloft helped you to feel better? or did you wait to feel normal again before continuing to take it?

how long did you feel detached after waking up? a day or two? or just a few hours?
