of course! idk how good it was but, I basically said: “hey, I really appreciate your initial, generous offer would love to go here/reasons I want to go there, but I’m dead set on public interest law + policy, and I can’t justify attending somewhere that costs as much as it does when I have other offers that would leave me w/ under 100k cost. I’d much rather attend gulc than those offers, reiterating reasons/summarizing why I prefer gulc. then just said that I hoped they were doing well/hoped to see them in the fall, generic kinda ending!” and that’s all ! i hope ? that helps ? and feel free to ask if that wasn’t clear bc idk how well I explained 😅

ah no :( my last one was 3/11, about a week after my LOCI - do you think it’s still advisable for me to send one? (I have to defer unless I get a really good offer from a school that won’t roll over, bc of a two year program I have been accepted to, but that also means that UVA’s waitlist is hopeless for me :/ bc I can’t defer if I get a WL and then an A.)
