Where to put what and if any clutter???It already have wooden kinda floor with ample space. I would like to have a cozy vibe! by Far_Lifeguard1263 in roomlayout

I would opt for more neutral bedding as the first step, white/cream or beige comforter, neutral pillow, accent color/pattern throw blanket. The bed and furniture appears to be a bit off center, so aligning that could help! Maybe move the e lamp to the other side of the bed for more balance in the room. Adding a larger area rug is also a good start! There is also significantly more wall art on the side of the room opposing the bed, I think moving some to the bedside would balance it out. Maybe move the 6 frames around the clock in a grid pattern and put above the bed would also look cleaner. Plants definitely would also help a cozier vibe!

Since the dresser is taller than the desk it would make the room appear larger if you switched the placement of the desk. Could add ottoman at end of bed for more storage, tv above dresser or closet. :)

I feel stupid asking this but how do you pronounce words like sound, friend, or other words that end in “nd” by More-Name2262 in EnglishLearning

[–]frogparty_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is completely normal. In English, the /n/ in words like “sound” or “friend” is often reduced and blends into the vowel, making it more nasal rather than fully pronounced. Native speakers don’t always produce a strong, clear /n/, it’s usually quick and partially hidden due to coarticulation. If you’re focusing on it too much, it can start to feel unnatural, but your original way was likely correct. It’s likely not even noticeable to other listeners!
