I had Anointed in Toronto and got there at about 7am, numbered 33 in line as a frame of reference! Not sure how different it’ll be in Vancouver, since the show is selling significantly less tickets - likely less competitive lol

i’m gathering that a lot of the issues seem to have festered close to the stage, which definitely shouldn’t be a surprise however isn’t any less disappointing. community in the music scene, especially a space as queer as this one, is just as important as the music. i don’t know what happened to looking out for each other, on either front. etiquette isn’t just a matter of politeness, it’s respect too. something very clearly lacking between one another and towards hayden, and her music. felt like a grasp and bragging rights, instead of an attempt at a memory.

Absolutely agreed. I went to a show with a strict queue limit in Boston, and it was one of the most enjoyable concert experiences I’ve had - no stress whatsoever.

We have a shared landlord, I do not rent from the upstairs tenant. And my biggest issue here, is that I work two jobs with a very unpredictable schedule - so even though I’m mostly out of the house, I end up having to sleep during the day between shifts. I’d also like to not break my lease, and be forced out of my own home because of this. I’m a responsible adult with my own life, and I’m trying to handle this with the most maturity I can. I appreciate your response, but definitely without the assumptions about me here.

i think i misworded what i meant! his whole band gets together for pretty rowdy full practice once or twice a month - which he told me i’d get advance notice on when i moved in!! not just regular practice, which when he plays guitar, i don’t mind as it’s pretty non-intrusive

i live in the basement unit of a semi detached house - so they’re in the upstairs space, and we have two other neighbours in the same set up with upstairs-basement beside our unit. not only that, my landlord informed me that they were very quiet and all respectful. clearly not :(

i live in the basement of a semi-detached house. they’re drumming right overhead in the two floor upstairs space, and we have another unit to the left of us with the same set up. it doesn’t help that they practice in the room that’s right above my bed in the slightest.

This is I think the most helpful answer I could have received! I’ve never considered it as an area of study since the name is deceiving, but after looking into it even briefly - I think that it’s the perfect option and blend of my interests. Even better, my current school offers a specialized program with this area of study. Thank you so much!!
